6 Blind Men feeling an elephant and thinking it’s the whole

Bushidō is a moral code concerning samurai attitudes, behavior and lifestyle. Bushido formalized earlier samurai moral values and ethical code, most commonly stressing a combination of sincerity, frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery and honour until death.[6] Born from Neo-Confucianism during times of peace in the Edo period (1603–1868) and following Confucian texts, while also being influenced by Shinto and Zen Buddhism, it allowed the violent existence of the samurai to be tempered by wisdom, patience and serenity.

Yet we from another era, time, place and modern culture can identify with the values of Bushido because they were humans and we are human and these are the higher if not highest of human life values. The common link is these are human traits and moral characteristic if not spiritual of human beings.

Thus we can identify or subconsciously wants to emulate and incorporate these values into our life. So be it religion A, religion B or religion C or philosophies this and that, warrior or no warrior , we are all Humans primarily. And religions is but subset and categories of human experience that certain groups created. We are all like the 6 blind men feeling an elephant and describing each part of the whole and thinking that that’s the whole thing.
