Is God male or female ?

 

That’s it right there. Faulty thinking like this leads one to wrong questions which leads to faulty answers which leads to all sorts of problems. 

Problem is some people think God is an entity, a being and suffers the same temperaments as us ? Problem begins when we think there is a God up there that plays God with people’s lives and livelihood. For a religion that’s suppose to “liberate & set the captives free” it sure has imprisoned many well meaning christian. For this the church has to be accountable. Many christian for as much abundant life as they are suppose to have are really walking on egg shells. For fear that an entity  a god, a being shall be less than happy with them. Jesus died and gotten crucified so that we can have an overcoming life but instead christian has adopted this persecution and martyr complex.

Question is not Who is God ? But what is God ? …that is a fundamental problem with modern Christianity

And I think western centric thinking doesn’t help at all, in fact has led to most of this faultiness.
