The tongue can be a destructive force if it’s uncontrolled and undisciplined. The tongue meaning Words. Words of men; can be unpredictable.

By contrast the word of God is sharper than a 2 edged sword. It’s cuts thru the spirit and soul. What’s the word of God ?

大道廢， 有仁義；智慧出，有大偽；六親不和，有孝慈；國家昏亂，有忠臣。 The need for Ten Commandments arises because men no longer operate in the Spirit of Goodness. When men operate in harmony and in the Spirit, there's no need for external code of conducts.
