The persecution complex of Christians

Saw this post on FB. I cringe every time I see this type of post from well meaning Christians who is preaching the gospels but not exactly doing the works of Christ. 

Who were the ones that hated Jesus in his times ? Let’s put things into perspective . It were the religious leaders the Pharisees and sadducees. Even the Roman politicians didn’t have a problem with him . It was the religious order that Jesus was upsetting that were against him.

Compared that to modern day Christianity and what they call persecution . Please !! The modern day church is preaching and becoming more like a trouble maker than presenting an alternative. 

And Christian’s band together in this persecution complex when they should really be upset because they are not presenting half of what Jesus did. 

There’s a form of Godliness without power it’s all empty talk and that’s  what pissed people off !!

So when the Christian say they are following Christ what are they really saying ?? What are they really following ?? Is it being holy ? Pious ? Moral ? Is this what Christian mean by following Christ ? Is this it ? Is this what Christ is all about ??? Even my grandmother does a better job !!
