Acts 16:6 : The East was already crowded

 


Going Eastward would have encountered possibly great resistance. The East was already spiritualised long before Jesus came or christianity came about. Buddhism, Hinduism, Zorasterism  and probably countless other spiritual practice. 

The West was however ready spiritually. And Paul was probably more culturally akin to the Caucasian than Asia. Going Westward made more sense.

1. The Secret Place :  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. What a powerful verse. The secret to abiding in the shadow of the Almighty is to dwell in the Secret Place ! How simple is that !  2. The Substance : " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrew 11:1.
